Summer Theater Camp
The APE Center, with the support from ARTS/West and The Dairy Barn, offers a creative week of self-esteem, cooperation and team-building skills enhancing theater program for children in grades 1-6, and youth in grades 7-10. Participants will learn how a theater show comes into being – not only actors/actresses are creating it but a good team of people of different skills.
Come and join us to build a theater ensemble for a week. You can be a costume designer and maker, set and prop designer and a stage hand, light and sound technician, ticket, program and poster designer, or an actor/actress. Choose which theater production job you would like to try and help us to create a show! You will: explore creative skills you already have, or develop new ones learn how to successfully cooperate and communicate with your peers make new friends
