SUMMER THEATER CAMP 2008
Integrating Arts and Character Education to Enhance Core Curriculum Achievement in Southeast Ohio Schools

Summer Theater Program 2008

The APE Center, with the support from ARTS/West and The Dairy Barn, offers a creative week of self-esteem, cooperation and team-building skills enhancing theater program for children in grades 1-6, and youth in grades 7-10.
Participants will learn how a theater show comes into being – not only actors/actresses are creating it but a good team of people of different skills.

Come and join us to build a theater ensemble for a week.

The session will take place at ARTS/West:

Monday, July 28th – Friday, August 1st from 9am – 4pm.

with a presentation of the shows on

Saturday afternoon, August 2nd in ARTS/West.

Instructors: Domi Adamova, MA, ME, LSC; Kate Scholl, MA, and many others (Selection is currently underway for one more additional dramatic instructor, and two lighting/sound/visual art professionals).

Theater Camp fees are $ 160/week (incl. Saturday).
For an extra fee childcare is provided during the work days
(8-9am = $30/week, and 4-5pm = $30/week).

The maximum of participants are 15 for the younger group and 15 for the older group. Possible fee reduction if you have more than one child of yours signed up.
