APE Center provides educational theater and concerts to give students an enriching cultural experience. The yheater shows focus on enhancing Character Education, while the musical concerts offer musical history lessons.

Our shows are primarly performed at ARTS/West, but we can also come and play in your school. We do not need a stage; we can play in your gym or cafeteria.

Teachers will obtain follow-up materials they can do with students to practice their new Character Education skills and Social Studies knowledge.

All these shows and concerts are performed by local musicians and actors.

JACKIE AND THE GIANT

A highly interactive educational play which has been successfully played in schools, theaters and educational centers all around Europe for 6 years now.
In 2004, it was awarded the European Union prize for an innovative approach in education.

JASMINE & JUNIPER

An entertaining as well as educational musical written and composed in Athens, OH with the help of local musicians. First performed in spring 2007 as a whole-school project on increasing self-esteem and social skills of West Elementary School students.
